About MRRScout

MRRScout is an early-stage micro-SaaS and niche tool discovery platform built for indie developers, solo founders, bootstrappers, and anyone who makes their living finding under-the-radar opportunities before they go mainstream.

Why we built this

The indie maker community is large, and competition for attention on platforms like Product Hunt is fierce. But most truly interesting tools — the ones with real niche traction — never make the front page. They quietly accumulate users, generate revenue, and get acquired or grow into serious businesses without anyone noticing.

We wanted a way to catch those signals early. Not after TechCrunch writes about them — but when they're a freshly-registered domain with a landing page, when they first appear in a Show HN thread, or when their GitHub stars start accelerating.

MRRScout is the tool we wished existed: a daily intelligence layer that monitors 6+ platforms simultaneously, scores everything by growth potential, and delivers the best finds to your inbox every Monday.

NicheScore — how we rank

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I submit my own product?
MRRScout discovers products automatically via its daily intelligence monitoring of Product Hunt, Hacker News, Reddit, GitHub Trending, BetaList, DevHunt, and new domain registrations. If your product hasn't appeared yet, request a manual scan via the contact page.
How do I get the weekly digest?
Join the free waitlist at mrrscout.com. Every Monday you'll receive the top 5 early-stage micro-SaaS tools with the highest NicheScore that week, plus brief commentary on why each is worth watching.
Is MRRScout open source?
The intelligence platform and scoring algorithms are proprietary, but the project is built in public. Progress updates and methodology posts are published on the blog. For data partnerships or API access enquiries, use the contact page.
How accurate is NicheScore for my product?
NicheScore ranks products relative to each other within the same discovery cohort — it's a comparison signal, not an absolute quality score. It reflects publicly available data at detection time and updates as new social signals, traffic, and monetization indicators are detected.
I want to partner with or advertise on MRRScout.
MRRScout's audience is indie developers, solo founders, and bootstrappers actively hunting niche market opportunities. If you have a relevant product or service, get in touch via mrrscout.com/contact to discuss sponsorship or partnership.
